Am I supposed to judge a band if according to their EM they've gone through 4 different drummers an their current lineup doesn't have one?

A-hem. Arkhum play a musical experience that can be called 'blackened death with technicality'. You can argue the blackened and tech label, but one thing is very clear - this band is heavy and brain fistingly awesome.
They're technical in the sense they use odd time signatures and complex solos when needed, but not a constant part of their sound. The bass also plays a roll, supporting and expanding guitar riffs while still standing on it's own high in the mix. The blackened aspect comes from the bands general 'mood' and persona, or maybe it's just space. Space is pretty fucking grim an tr00.
A young band with a short but mighty introduction, showing the bands uses of musicianship and skills very well. Very worth a 'try'.
