Apparently we slept on this one here at Loadown HQ and I bring it to you.
If you don't know, Intronaut play prog-metal as it should be. That's all you should need to know, but if you need further convincing.. they meld the 'prog standards' of heavy instrumentation and instrumental overtures with a lovely use of vox that acts as a sixth (I counted both geetars) instrument.
The melody and tranquility brought form their instrumental spindling are an alluring point on it's own - but when the boys choose to get heavy they can suffocate listeners in a mesmeric crushing symphony.
They're also better than Mastadon. Er-hem...
I should write for pitchfork... er .. p4k. I'm not resizing the cover art cuz it's good.
