Synthetic Breed - Perpetual Motion Machine [2k10]

Stepping away from the reccent wave of 'sabbath worshipping amplifier humping' postings of late I bring to you this band who virtually all reviews or snippet reference Meshuggah. That's usually a good thing - but I wonder how the band themselves take it?
While the band name & song titles and most the guitar work are straight from the Meshuggah playbook the band does have it's own uniqueness. That being the use of a second vocalist that when 'used' brings a 'break' in the immense force of the overall band, bringing in some melody to the otherwise unrelenting crush that is provided.
A good change-up on already great formula (or worship).
